FAQ - What to do if home internet is down
What to do if home internet is down
If your home internet has stopped working — don't rush to call support. In most cases the internet connection problem can be solved on your own in 5 minutes. Follow this step-by-step guide from Sola internet provider.
1. Check your balance in your personal account
Go to cabinet.sola.uz and check your balance. If your funds have run out — top up your account and the internet connection will be restored automatically.
2. Restart your router
Unplug the router from the power outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait 2 minutes for the device to fully load. Often a simple router restart fixes the home internet problem.
3. Check the cables
Make sure all cables are securely connected:
The network cable from the wall outlet is connected to the WAN port of the router
The indicators on the router are lit
4. Check the PPPoE connection status
Most Sola subscribers in Tashkent are connected via the PPPoE protocol. If you have a Sola router installed — the PPPoE settings are already configured by our specialists and do not need to be changed.
If the WAN/Internet indicator on the router is not lit or is red — this indicates a PPPoE connection problem. In this case:
Restart the router
5. Check for power outages in your area
There may be scheduled maintenance work in your area.
6. Call the internet provider's technical support
If nothing helped — call the short number 1130 or +998 71 207-08-06. Sola technical support works around the clock 24/7.
